"The course layout worked well with a series of short tutorials followed by scenario based learning relating to the previous learning points. There was a high ratio of senior, experienced clinicians to course participants for the entirety of both days. As a result, I felt I had high quality teaching from experienced clinicians who were able to give feedback on my performance in a number of scenarios. By participating in a variety of scenarios with detailed feedback from experienced clinicians, I left the course feeling better equiped to deal with acutely unwell patients. The staff were approachable and friendly, providing invaluable advice and insight into some difficult topics." George
"Thanks for organising the Ascert course. I really enjoyed the day. As well as being fun and informative it has definitely improved my confidence in the assessment and immediate treatment of the acutely unwell adult. The lectures were succinct and useful. The practical skill stations gave me an opportunity to practice on models with close guidance from senior doctors. I am sure this course has directly helped me work better and safer as a doctor.
